The Rules to Playing Shot Pong

The biggest misconception to Shot Pong is that it is played with shots of liquor. It is not necessary to play Shot Pong with liquor, in fact, we DO NOT RECOMMEND using liquor for this game. You can use any beverage you like, however the game was designed to be a drinking game like Beer Pong and therefore to use beer in the shot cups.

Each shot cup is a 2oz. cup and each rack starts with 6 shot cups, which is a total of 12oz. or the equivalent of one bottle of beer. So the game starts off with each person filling a bottle of beer (or choice of beverage) into their shot cups.

Like beer pong, each person takes a turn trying to get the ping pong ball into the cups of their opponent's rack. However, rather than tossing the ping pong ball, bouncing the ball is a better strategy. You can use either a single bounce or multiple bounces to get your ping pong ball into your opponent's cups. The game continues until someone finishes sinking the ping pong ball into all of their opponent's cups.

To prevent the ping pong ball from getting stuck in a cup, make sure to always have the cups filled with your deserved beverage of choice.

TIP: If a ball does get stuck in a cup, blow into the cup, this with dislodged the ball, however we do recommend closing your eyes as any liquid still in the cup will come out too.

Rules were meant to be broken... Share with us your ideas or modifications to the game.
